What inspired you to start this business?
  

 I was inspired to start this business because I had a few clients I personal trained that had PCOS, these women had exercised for a few years before seeing me, but still achieved no weight loss. So I did some research and found out that one of the symptoms with having PCOS is insulin resistance, so I put them on a Paleolithic diet and saw the massive difference it made to their bodies. This what caused me to think about all the other women out there who try to exercise and eat a healthier diet without seeing much results. My job is to solve peoples weight loss problems, so setting up this website has enabled me to appeal to a wider audience than just the people I see in the gym.

Can you explain to my readers what is PCOS?


 PCOS stands for polycystic ovary syndrome which is a metabolic disorder and sufferers may have a number of cysts on their ovaries.  PCOS disrupts your hormones especially your insulin which leads to weight gain, diabetes and heart disease.

What is a paleolithic diet ?
 

A Paleolithic (stone age times) diet is what we ate before Neolithic farming was introduced. In the Paleolithic era we were leaner and engaged in regular intense exercise such as hunting wild animals. Unfortunately for us even though we don’t live in those times, our bodies haven’t caught up with our new age lifestyles.  So living in a era of processed foods, microwaves, chemically tainted fast foods our bodies suffer and get sicker and fatter.

How is your diet different from the other diet plans out there?


       Well first of all the Paleo diet is more of a healthy lifestyle than it is a diet. The word diet in our minds is linked to starvation and failure. So the big difference here is learning how to cook meals that is causing you all the problems in the first place. Foods such as grains, all sugars and dairy. I know it sounds like there's nothing left to eat, but that is why I want you to check out this system because you’ll be amazed at how much variety you can get from all meats,   (yes including red meat), herbs, vegetables and fruits,  good fats like coconut oil, olive oil, nuts and fish. The recipes are endless and very tasty. Most diets leave you tired, moody and craving bad carbs which is why I’m against dieting because it doesn't work in the long run, there is always a rebound effect when you put your body through dieting. But by following a Paleolithic diet as much as you can (it doesn't have to be 100% perfect) you get the opposite effect , you lose weight, have clearer skin, more energy and regain a healthy body that runs optimally.
